As the year comes to a close, in everything we do
We should tell God “thank you”
“In everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (I Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV)
We cannot lack something, God has done for us
Deserving acknowledgement with a sincere “thank you”
People have all along the year prayed for many things
The requests were as diverse as the population
Many testimonies abound, of answered prayers
Including claims of undeserved blessings
There are many promises for those who say “thank you”
“…….out of them shall proceed thanksgiving
And the voice of those who make merry;
I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish;
I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
Their children also shall be as before,
And their congregation shall be established before Me;
And I will punish all who oppress them
Their nobles shall be from among them,
And their governor shall come from their midst;
Then I will cause him to draw near,
And he shall approach Me;
For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?’ says the LORD.”(Jeremiah 30:19-20 NKJV)
When we thank God, He multiplies us
Our finances, and everything else
We shall not be seen as small, lacking
God glorifies, honors those who give thanks
Leaders will come from our amidst
Thankful people never decrease
Church that give thanks never diminish
Let’s fervently claim our promises
When we tell God “thank you”
God deals with all other things
Those who give thanks to God, attract His favor and care
“a land for which the LORD your God cares;
the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it,
from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year. (Deuteronomy 11:12 NKJV)
Paul and Silas in jail just thanked God in praise
God dealt with their enemies
